Waterproof Carpet Rolls (Wall-to-Wall)
Completely waterproof roll carpet uses specialized backing — like thermoplastic layers — to contain 100% of spills on top of the surface. Premium wall-to-wall product best for indoor use at any level of the home. Installation takes more effort than tiles and is typically more expensive, but it delivers true 100% moisture resistance.
Water-Resistant Carpet Tiles
Most modular carpet tiles are water-resistant rather than entirely waterproof. The backing protects the subfloor from minor topical spills, but heavy flooding can seep through seams. Budget-friendly, easy to install, and many can be used both indoors and outdoors.
Pet-Friendly Waterproof Carpet
Stain- and odor-resistant fibers (often with Shaw RX2 total-fiber coverage) built for accidents and heavy paw traffic — spills wick back to the surface so they blot up clean.
Solution-Dyed Waterproof Carpet
Color locked into the fiber for bleach-cleanable, fade-proof performance — best for sunny rooms, kids rooms, and high-spill areas where you still want full waterproof backing.
