Gym & Fitness
Why Choose Foam Flooring
Foam flooring delivers lightweight cushioning that protects joints during low-impact activity and softens landings for kids and athletes. It installs fast, reconfigures easily, and works wherever you need a forgiving surface — home gyms, playrooms, yoga studios, and light martial arts. Floors and Beyond installs foam flooring across Northern Virginia and the DC Metro.
Key Benefits
Built for Performance
Joint-Friendly Cushion
Closed-cell foam absorbs impact, reducing strain on knees, wrists, and backs during floor work and stretching.
Fast DIY-Friendly Install
Interlocking EVA tiles snap together in minutes and reconfigure as your space or routine changes.
Waterproof & Easy Clean
Non-absorbent surfaces wipe clean of sweat and spills — a damp cloth is all it takes.
Kid-Safe & Non-Toxic
Low-VOC, latex-free foam is safe for playrooms and nurseries, with a textured surface for traction.
What We Install
Your Options
EVA Interlocking Tiles
The most popular foam format — colorful, reversible, and easy to expand or rearrange for home gyms and playrooms.
PU Foam Rolls
Denser polyurethane rolls for yoga, Pilates, and studio use where a firmer, smoother surface is preferred.
Crash & Landing Mats
Thick, high-absorption mats for dismounts and high-impact training — layered over rubber or foam tile.
Tatami-Style Foam
Firm, smooth-surface foam tiles designed for martial arts, grappling, and barefoot training.
Our Process
From Consultation to Completion
Consultation
We assess your activity, subfloor, and traffic to recommend the right foam density and thickness.
Subfloor Prep
A clean, flat, dry subfloor ensures tiles lay flat and interlock securely without shifting.
Layout & Install
We plan tile orientation to minimize cuts, lock tiles together, and finish edges cleanly at walls.
Care Guidance
We review simple maintenance and back the install with our workmanship warranty.
